Die Nachricht geisterte bereits Ende letzter Woche durch das Netz, TheMovieBlog hat dazu einen guten Kommentar abgegeben. So traurig der Schnitt auch ist und erneut die mangelnde Meinungsfreiheit in China aufzeigt, so schadet es dem Film wohl kaum. Entfernt man alle Szenen von Chow Yun-Fat, so wird der Film bestenfalls kürzer, aber nicht schlechter.
