Die Oscars wurden zum 81. Mal vergeben und die großen Favoriten waren "Der seltsame Fall des Benjamin Button", "Slumdog Millionaire", "The Dark Knight" und "Milk". Wer hat das Rennen gemacht?

Bereits zum 81. Mal wurden die besten Filme eines Jahres geehrt und die Oscars sind immer wieder für eine Überraschung gut. Der Sieger des gestrigen Abends ist ohne Frage Danny Boyles Slumdog Millionär. Gleich 8 mal setzte sich der Film gegen seine stärksten Konkurrenten Der seltsame Fall des Benjamin Button, Milk und Frost/Nixon durch. Slumdog Millionär bekam sowohl den Oscar für den besten Film als auch die beste Regie. Weniger Glück hatte David Finchers Der seltsame Fall des Benjamin Button. Zwar häufig nominiert, bekam der Film am Ende aber nur drei eher unbedeutende Oscars als Ehrung.

Bei den Oscars für die Darsteller gab es ebenfalls ein paar kleine Überraschungen. So holte Seann Penn den Oscar für die beste Hauptrolle in Milk und setzte sich damit gegen Mickey Rourke durch. Kate Winslet wurde endlich als beste Hauptdarstellerin geehrt. Ergreifend ist derweil die posthume Ehrung von Heath Ledger als bester Nebendarsteller in The Dark Knight.

mit der behauptung von "benjamin button" stimm ich dir schon zu, nur ist es halt nicht so der tpyische special effect-oskar kandidaten film.
den ein visueller augenschmaus ist iron man viel mehr als B.B

Aber für was hätte denn Iron Man den Special Effects Oscar verdient? Der Oscar soll für besondere Leistungen vergeben werden und da war Iron Man gut, aber es war alles nur eine Fingerübung für ILM. Der Film hatte keine Effekte, die jetzt besonders hervorzuheben waren. Bei Benjamin Button waren die Effekte zahlreich und oft so gut eingebaut, dass der Zuschauer sie oft gar nicht direkt bemerkte und so soll es doch sein. Und du meinst sicherlich Slumdog mit reichhaltiger Oscarsegnung.

habs mir live im fernsehen angeschaut und ja....war nicht sonderlich spannend, bis auf den umstand, dass benjamin button ein wenig zu reichhaltig kassiert hat und es oft in der konkurenz besseres gab....
besonders den special effect oskar hätte normalerweise schon iron man bekommen müssen......wie schaut den dass aus
kate winslet und heath leder......das war erfreulich, besonders die ansprachen waren toll
