[..] Warner Bros. Pictures has commissioned Boaz Yakin (The Rookie, Remember the Titans) to write the script for a motion picture based on the character Conan the Barbarian created by Robert E. Howard. The studio intends to ready the script for an early 2007 start. "We are excited about working with Boaz and Paradox Entertainment to create what will be a successful and innovative series of motion pictures," said Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures. The picture will be produced by Irving Azoff, Jon Jashni, Richard Alexander and Akiva Goldsman. The executive producers are Peter Sederowsky, President and CEO of Paradox Entertainment, and Fredrik Malmberg, Paradox Entertainment's Head of Licensing and Creative Affairs. [..]
