Am 27. Dezember kommt "Aliens vs. Predator Requiem" in unsere Kinos. Im Gegensatz zum ersten Teil, soll dieser weitaus gewalttätiger ausfallen und sich mehr an den Originalreihen orientieren. In einem Interview mit IESB sprachen die Brüder Colin und Greg Strause über ihren neuen Film. Ein kurzer Ausschnitt aus dem Interview.
So schreibt IESB: [..] In addition to the red-band trailer and brief never-before-screening clip of the alien/predator hybrid seen in the final shot of the first film, the directorial team of brothers Colin and Greg Strause greeted fans and participated in a Q &A.
It was particularly impressive how greatly the brothers seemed to be fans of both franchises and, though they'd only grin and not comment, apparently not fans at all of the first AVP film, fully prepared to make this one a better experience for the fans.
The brothers explained how important it was to keep the tone of the original Alien and Predator movies, using CGI only when absolutely necessary and even going back and digitally adding faults to the Predator's cloak to make it look exactly like it used to.
One person asked about a potential third film and if they would ever return to the "space jockey" alien species from Ridley Scott's original Alien. The brothers only looked at each other and got big smiles on their faces.
"That's one idea we've already thought about," they said. [..]
